Static Technologies offers the Static Tech MG-1400 heel grounder for use in controlling static in clean environments. The heel grounder`s blue, dissipative heel cup eliminates scuffing of floors and footwear and, according to the company, unlike conventional heel grounders, the MG-1400 has no carbon surface layers. It is constructed of a three-layer cup material, providing more effective charge dissipation than non-black heel cups. The blue vinyl cup has a surface resistivity of 107 ohms per square, and tab-to-cup resistance is below 1 &#165 108 ohms. The MG-1400 has a hook-and-loop fastening system that easily adjusts to fit all foot sizes. It includes the company`s fray-resistant tab for extended life.
