Labconco`s new Paramount Filtered Enclosure is designed to remove small quantities of contaminants such as organic solvents, acid gases, formaldehyde and ammonia. As an internal blower pulls air into the enclosure, contaminants released within the enclosure are diluted by the air, drawn through a rear baffle, and absorbed onto, or treated by, two internal carbon filters. A front air foil directs air flow into the enclosure. The Paramount Enclosure requires no ducting, incorporates Filter Cells engineered to the NIOSH guidelines for respirators, and is constructed of corrosion-resistant tempered safety glass sides.
