Winokur Water Systems Corp. has introduced a new laboratory water purification system called WinLab, incorporating a patented “multipass” UV irradiation system designed to provide a reliable source of ultrapure water to exceed requirements for biomedical grade standards of purity. A recirculation pump delivers pure water at flows to 3 liters per minute. A special lock-out function keeps water from being dispensed if purity levels should fall below specifications. WinLab`s “multipass” system ensures against contamination by microorganisms by isolating the system at the influent and effluent ends. Applications include media preparation, tissue culture, biomedical, HPLC, DNA/RNA testing, liquid and ion chromatography and atomic absorption. Microprocessor-based control and soft-touch operator keypad provide the user with several dispensing modes and continuous water purity display. The unit may be wall-mounted, set on a bench or used free-standing with an optional base cabinet. Reverse osmosis and deionizing pre-treatment systems are also available. In addition to WinLab`s two-year warranty, Winokur provides full technical support.
