Billerica, Massachusetts — May 26, 2005 — Millipore today announced the appointment of Dr. Suraj Baloda, group manager for process microbiology and sterile applications, and Eric Rudolph, director of strategic planning and business development, to PDA’s Training and Research Institute Advisory Board (TRIAB).
PDA TRI provides worldwide education, training and applied research in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and related sciences and technologies. PDA TRI focuses on hands-on laboratory and lecture courses and in-process training for scientists involved in developing and manufacturing pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and related products.
During their tenure, Dr. Baloda and Mr. Rudolph will help align PDA’s curriculum and oversee course development to best serve industry, academia and global health authorities. They also will provide guidance on the implementation of training and certificate programs.
According to Dr. Baloda, “It is both an honor and a privilege to serve on PDA TRI’s advisory board. We look forward to working with other industry leaders in contributing to this organization, whose mission is to advance pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical technology internationally.” Dr. Baloda will serve on the board for two years, while Mr. Rudolph will serve a one-year term.
