JAN. 27–MONTGOMERYVILLE Pa.–Air Energy Systems, a cleanroom designer, builder and component manufacturer, has unveiled a new company name and matching logo: AES Clean Technology, Inc.
Officials say the company’s new name combines its cleanroom expertise under a “global identity” that reflects last year’s acquisition of MSS Clean Technology (Buford, Ga).
Air Energy and MSS teamed up in 1999 to provide contamination control solutions for numerous processes. In June 2002, AES acquired the assets of MSS and those of its wholly owned subsidiary, LSI Cleanrooms, which is also located in Buford.
MSS and LSI manufacture cleanroom wall panel systems and other components, with MSS geared toward current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) for the pharmaceutical side and LSI concentrated on the microelectronics arena. AES designs and builds turnkey systems and cleanroom components for controlled environments ranging from ISO Class 3 to ISO Class 8.
