The variable architecture designs of podded cable for low-profile, high-flex, chemical- and abrasion-resistant or cleanroom-compatible environments combine power, signal, motor control, pneumatic or hydraulic lines and data transmission cables in one package. The individual components remain isolated for shielding effectiveness or routability. According to the manufacturer, when properly applied, podded cable can eliminate the need for cable track or conduit systems.
