Labconco fume hoods become EPA certified

Several fume hood from Labconco`s Protector line have been certified by the EPA. The EPA`s testing procedure is based on American National Standards Institute/American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ANSI/ ASHRAE) Standard 110-1995, which is designed to ensure that fume hoods used in EPA laboratories meet performance criteria for providing a safe and healthful workplace. The hoods selected were tested at the factory by an EPA team and can now be placed in EPA facilities with no further testing required. — SES
