These mist eliminators remove water and oil from compressed air utilizing “depth of bed coalescing” technology. According to the manufacturer, by using a bed depth 24 times greater than a conventional filter, this unit achieves 100-percent efficiency in removing particles larger than 3 microns and 99.8+ percent efficiency in removing particles down to 0.1 micron. Over its 10-year expected life, the product will produce an average pressure drop of 0.5 psi.
