The Top Gun Sidekick ionizing air gun offers “hands-off” operation, with a static discharge time of 1.3 seconds (1000 V to 100 V) at 30 psi and six inches from the gun tip. It works with compressed air, nitrogen or inert gas. According to the manufacturer, the instrument neutralizes static charges that attract and hold contaminants to parts and surfaces, while removing dust and particulate. The Top Gun Sidekick unit includes a filter at the exit, 18 inches of flexible hose, an integrated foot pedal and mounting brackets.
