Ashland Chemical, IMEC extend research agreement to 2001

Ashland Chemical Co.`s Electronic Chemicals Division and the Interuniversity Microelectronics Center (IMEC) have extended their exclusive joint research agreement to the year 2001. The contract extension between IMEC — an independent semiconductor research center in Leuven, Belgium — and Ashland Chemical, a supplier of ultra-high purity products and services to the global microelectronics industry, includes a program for new product development and for investigation of chemical requirements for HF last and IPA vapor drying processing. — SES
