Process fluid chiller provides cooling control for equipment

Liebert`s new process fluid chiller cools water-jacketed machinery using three fluid types: water, ethylene glycol or propylene glycol.

The Process Fluid Chiller, used to chill fluid-cooled process equipment such as plastics molding and extrusion equipment, laser welding and cutting systems, distillation processes, and other industrial equipment, is now available from Liebert Corp. Thanks to close-coupling, precise temperature control is achievable and assures that clean water circulates around the cooled equipment. Some features include: cooling capacities of 1.5 to 5 tons; three fluid types: water, ethylene glycol, or propylene glycol; a refrigerant dehydrator to absorb moisture contamination; an expansion valve to control refrigerant flow and superheat; and an 8-gallon fluid reservoir expansion tank that acts as a buffer for rapid load changes.

Optional features include an emergency water bypass or enviro-source emergency bypass to separate water supplies in case of flow or temperature problems; refrigerant gauges; reservoir heater; and LED displays.

Liebert also offers a self-contained industrial strength air conditioning unit. The Industrial Cooling Series is designed with a durable ducted system to provide high static pressures allowing for long duct runs and high efficiency filters.
