Molecular Imprints sells to major research centers

June 21, 2005 — Molecular Imprints Inc., a developer of Step and Flash Imprint Lithography technology, announced that is has sold its Imprio 55 system to Lawrence Berkeley National Lab’s Molecular Foundry in California, the University of Texas at Austin, and Pennsylvania State Nanofabrication Facility. It also announced that it has sold its Imprio 100 tool to the Microelectronics Research Center at UT-Austin.

Norm Schumaker, Molecular Imprints’ president and CEO, said in a prepared statement that the research objectives of the customers are closely aligned with those of Molecular Imprints. The company develops and manufactures nanolithography systems for high resolution and 3-dimensional pattern replication.
