July 3, 2007&#8212Three of Silicon Valley’s leading semiconductor service labs&#8212Berkeley Consulting Services Inc., FIB International Inc., and Nano Measurements Inc.&#8212have agreed merge simultaneously to form Nano Integrated Solutions Inc.

The new venture was established by the three founders to answer the growing need among fabless semiconductor design firms for an independent, vertically integrated, turnkey services laboratory, capable of taking a firm’s chip from initial design through production at a single lab, including services such as test, failure analysis, reliability qualification, and PCB design. With five labs operating in North America supporting chip firms from the U.S., Europe, and Asia, the formation of Nano Integrated Solutions became effective on July 1.
