Tech matchmaker: Shall we go Dutch?

April 9, 2004 — The Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency has created a service to help nanotech, life science and communications firms in other countries identify business partners in the Netherlands, according to a news release.

The free Technology Matchmaking Service will help companies find partners for research and development programs, technical cooperation and joint ventures. The service will also market products in Europe and provide research services.

In 2003, the agency said, it was involved in more than 100 new investment projects for foreign companies, more than half of which came from North America.
