Oct. 14, 2004 – Cientifica Ltd. (News, Web), which specializes in nanotechnology market research, business consulting and publications, has created a Singapore-based subsidiary to boost nano development in the Asia Pacific region.

Cientifica Singapore Pte. Ltd.’s plans include helping local firms and research organizations build off Singapore’s education and manufacturing strengths and create a regional hub for nanotech commercialization. The subsidiary also helped organize this week’s World Nano-Economic Congress Singapore, a two-day event that focused on the impact of emerging technologies on Asian industry. Cientifica has offices in Madrid, London, San Francisco and Mumbai.
