Nov. 5, 2003 — Caliper Technologies Corp. has settled a patent infringement lawsuit it filed last year against Molecular Devices Corp., according to a news release.
As part of the settlement, Molecular Devices has agreed to pay Caliper a one-time licensing fee as well as royalties based on future sales of its IMAP assay products. Financial details were not disclosed.
