Intematix unveils white phosphor solutions

Mar. 24, 2005 — Intematix Inc. of Moraga, Calif., announced production availability of the first members of its phosphor family — the White Lightning Y450 and White Lightning Y460.

The phosphors are intended for applications requiring bright vibrant light such as LCD and keypad backlighting, camera flash, automotive lighting, large area signage and architectural lighting. The materials were developed using Intematix’s tools for ultra-rapid thin film and nanomaterials discovery.
