Oct. 15, 2002 — Altair Nanotechnologies Inc., a Reno, Nev.-based supplier of nanocrystalline materials, has completed a $200,000 private stock placement, according to a news release. Investors include large shareholders and immediate family members of officers and directors of the company.
Investors purchased units, at 75 cents each, that contain one share of stock and two warrants. The warrants entitle the holder to purchase one-half share of stock, at prices of $1.25 and $1.75 respectively. Altair stock was down 2 cents at 63 cents per share in late morning trading.
