Korea to build nano fab center

July 19, 2002 — South Korea’s Ministry of Science and Technology will build a nano fab center at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, according to Asia Pulse. SungKyunKwan University and Pohang University had previously hoped to host the project.

The new center will offer nano-related services and research equipment. Construction is expected to begin as early as September and is due to be complete in 2005.
