Unitive Inc. (Research Triangle Park, N.C.) appointed Arthur Bergens, Jr., as vice president and chief financial officer. He will be responsible for leading the company's financial strategy and growth.

Koby Leist joined Shellcase (Jerusalem) as vice president of manufacturing. Leist will be responsible for ramping up the company's manufacturing capabilities at its newly opened production facility that includes 15,000 square feet of clean room production space.

ChipPAC Inc. (Fremont, Calif.) appointed Douglas Norby and Robert Conn to its board of directors.

Franz Sumnitsch, vice chairman of the board of directors of SEZ Holding Ltd. and CEO of the SEZ Group (Munich, Germany) was honored by SEMI for his contributions to the semiconductor industry during the annual SEMICON Europa Exposition.

Richard Massero, Jr. will be working for DL Technology (Haverhill, Mass.) as the worldwide engineering manager for the company's dispensing valve and needle product lines.
