Parenteral particle tester
The HIAC 9703 System measures particles from small and large volume parenterals as well as fluid used for cleaning medical devices and precision parts. It detects particles in the range of 1.3 to 600 microns, according to company claims. The HRLD series sensors are used exclusively with this system to size particles through their dynamic range.

HEPA filter
The Ultra Low-pressure Drop EEF HEPA filter system offers the following specifications: 24x24x12 inches deep (same as conventional deep HEPAs), 0.5-inch water column (WC) pressure drop at 2400 scfm, and a lifetime of about two to three times greater than conventional HEPAs of the same size at the same flow rate. It also inhibits bacterial growth and survival on the filter medium.

Low-pressure sensor
The LP 1000 series of low-differential/gauge pressure sensors is fully wet/wet compatible for use with conductive fluids, configured for uni-directional or bi-directional operation using a two-wire current or three-wire voltage interface. An inductive sensing principle is employed to provide maximum sensitivity to detect even small variations in pressure. According to the manufacturer, the beryllium copper sensing diaphragm operates with minimal displacement for long-term performance and resistance to shock and vibration. The product is offered with an optional liquid crystal display (LCD) and a variety of mounting configurations.

Pressure calibrator
Model 3610 Meri-Cal II, a portable microprocessor-based pressure-sensing device for measuring differential, gauge, vacuum or absolute pressure, incorporates a Data Logging mode and on-board memory to provide calibration documentation at the stroke of a key. Calibration procedures can be set up using the Windows 95 data logging program, allowing up to 20 PC calibration files of up to 20 points each to be downloaded from a PC. Users then receive prompts of required calibration points.

Piezoelectric motors
The HR-V and HR-UV Series motors are for use in vacuum environments. With a size range from a single-element (providing 0.45 kg of force) to an eight-element motor (providing 3.6 kg of force), the HR series is capable of driving both linear and rotary stages. The HR-V vacuum series is rated up to 107 Torr and the HR-UV is rated up to 1010 Torr. Both configurations are suitable for bake out and operate without any magnetic field.

Conveyor
The roller knife-edge design on the conveyors permits the direct transfer of items from one conveyor to another without a transfer plate. This is accomplished with less friction and greater belt life than non-roller knife-edge conveyors. The feature is available as an option on two series: the CSK "slimline," which contains its motor within its frame, and the CSJ series of extruded aluminum frame conveyors. Standard belt widths range from 30 to 200 mm. Belt lengths between pulleys are from 500 mm to 2000 mm. Standard speeds are from 1.3 m/min to 18.8 m/min.

Pressure transmitter
With an accuracy of ±0.5 percent FS, according to company claims, the Series 655 wet/wet differential pressure transmitter measures low-pressure ranges of 5.0 inches water column (WC) differential (1.24 kPa) and withstands working pressures up to a maximum 100 psi (6.89 Bar). Units can be used to measure gas or liquid pressures compatible with 316/316L stainless steel wetted parts. The product converts a differential pressure measurement into a standard 4- to 20-mA output signal.
