Advanced Energy seeks to overturn jury verdict

05/21/2002  Fort Collins, CO - Advanced Energy Industries Inc. (AE) will file a motion to overturn a May 17 jury verdict. The jury ruled in a Delaware court that AE infringed on a patent held by the applied science and technology division of MKS Instruments Inc., and awarded $4.2 million in damages.

Ntera's NanoChromics display technology can be used for billboards, supermarket shelf displays, e-books, medical testing and smart cards. NTera's goal is to become a leader in the flat-panel display market, which is expected to be worth $40 billion globally in 2005.
