Semicon Europa 2005 Preview

03/01/2005

April 11-15, Munich, Germany

Semicon Europa (sponsored by trade organization Semi) will be held from Monday, April 11-Friday, April 15, at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre (see photo).

At last year’s Semicon Europa 2004, 900 companies presented their products to more than 8600 registered visitors. As of January 17, approximately 380 companies from Accretech Tokyo Seimitsu Europe GmbH to Carl Zeiss SMT AG were scheduled to be attending the 2005 event. See www.semi.org for an up-to-date exhibitor list.

New this year to Semicon Europa’s technical program are free sessions called Semi Technology Arenas to be held on the exhibit floor from April 12-14. Each will discuss a particular technical subject, such as factory automation, MEMS/NEMS, R&D/innovation, lithography and masks, interconnect reliability, and frontend processes.

What follows is a brief chronological listing of event titles, which is subject to change. See www.semi.org for the complete technical program and to register for events.
