The Optima, Econo, and Legacy Series controller lines are detailed in this 96-page catalog. Included are specs for DMC-based controller models and a motion controller comparison table to aid in locating and designating required functions. Specs are also included for servo amplifiers and motors, as well as software tools. A 20-page reference guide features an overview on motion control that describes the elements of a servo system, tuning, and programming. This last section discusses motion programming and various modes of motion such as independent positioning, linear and circular interpolation, electronic gearing, and electronic cam. The catalog also includes a technical reference section with pick-and-place, cut-to-length, rotating knife, and web tension control application examples.
