High-purity chemical containers

Manufactured by multilayer blowmolding, the FluoroPure high-density polyethylene drum offers safe and ultrapure transport of electronic-grade specialty chemicals in a single- or multiple-use container. Multilayer blowmolding technology allows the use of different material characteristics for each layer. Unlike monolayer drums, multilayer drums involve no tradeoff between safety and purity, because the chemicals do not come into contact with the additives that enhance the drum`s safety. The "wetted" portions of the drum, which are exposed to ultrapure chemicals, are made of virgin polyethylene material. The middle layer is composed of reprocessed excess material generated in the molding process, minimizing waste. The drum`s outer layer features additives such as ultraviolet stabilizers and colorants that protect the container during shipping.
