Automated in-line dispense and cure system

This high-speed, fully automated fluid dispensing and curing system handles a wide range of advanced semiconductor package and board assembly applications. The process module integrates Millennium dispense technology with Variable Frequency Microwave (VFM) curing technology. The M-600 Millennium series automated fluid dispensing system provides complete software control over part handling, fluid delivery, and thermal management. Calibrated fluid delivery, precision multizone heating, proprietary vision algorithm, and automatic substrate handling provide fast and accurate dispensing for a variety of common package types. The MicroCure 5100 system uses VFM technology to reduce cure time by a factor of 10 or more compared with convection ovens. This technology ensures uniform energy distribution for even heating throughout the chamber and elimination of standing wave high-energy peaks associated with arcing in microwave ovens.
