DC measurements application note
This application note explores recent advances in DC parametric measurements. New parametric testers (such as the HP4071/4072 and HP4156B/E5250A) and parametric wafer probers can overcome problems with low measurement resolution, slow measurements, and high noise by applying the new technologies discussed in the note. Other methods to ensure accurate ultra-low-level measurements (femtoamp and femtofarad) over temperature (-65 to 300°C) are also reviewed. Vacuum Pirani transducer brochure
Highlighted in this brochure is the HPS series 325 MODUCELL, a Pirani analog transducer. The tool consists of a Pirani sensor and an electronic control circuit; analog output is standard along with one setpoint and relay. It offers ISO-KF, CF, VCR, and other flanging choices; can be used as a system control element, relay, gauge, alarm, and remote sensor; and measures vacuum pressure from 10-3 to 100torr. Information on specs, dimensions, and prices is also included in the brochure. MKS Instruments, Vacuum Products Group, Boulder, CO; ph 800/345-1967 or 303/449-9861, fax 303/442-6880, www.mksinst.com.
Material safety data sheets on-line
Chemical safety information for numerous products is now available at a company web site. Provided are data on flammability, corrosiveness, and toxicity, as well as storage and handling information. Instructions in case of a spill, fire, or physical contact with the chemical are also included. To access the data sheets, link to the company's on-line catalog from its web site, and then link to the safety information via the product description pages.Alfa Aesar, Ward Hill, MA; ph 978/521-6300, fax 978/521-6350, e-mail [email protected], www.alfa.com.
Flip chip bonder brochure
|
A four-page, four-color illustrated brochure describes a semiautomatic Model 860 Omni bonder designed for low-volume production runs of gold, solder, adhesive, or stud-bumped flip chips, as well as laser diodes and eutectic die. Typical applications include flip chip bonding solder-bumped die on PCB or flex circuitry; flip chip bonding stud-bumped die with conductive adhesive on ceramic substrates; bonding edge-emitting laser diodes to submounts using gold tin preforms; and eutectic die bonding silicon die to ceramic substrates with multiple bond sites. The brochure also details product features, application process steps, and specs.
