Intel Corp. will open a marketing and sales office in Pakistan - Intel Pakistan Corp. Mohsin Iqbal has been appointed country manager. The company wants to ensure that the latest IT information is available to all those who are buying, selling, or manufacturing computers. Through its Intel Inside program and other marketing activities, the company will work with the computer industry,

locally and internationally, to promote Intel`s latest computing technology, and to ensure that the technology available in Pakistan is equivalent to that available in any market, worldwide.

Cybeq Nano Technologies, San Jose, CA, has chosen Marketech International Corp. as its representative in Taiwan. Under the deal, Marketech will provide sales, service, and customer support to the CMP equipment firm`s Taiwan-based customers. With 120 employees in Taiwan, Marketech estimates it will sell more than $100 million worth of semiconductor equipment and materials in 1997 for its principals. The company`s cleanroom facilities in Hsinchu will house Cybeq`s CMP equipment in order to provide local process and applications support to customers.
