Vortex flow meter catalog
This catalog describes specs for a line of vortex flow meters. Thermoplastic Vortex Flow Meters provide repeatable ?1% accuracy without fluid contamination because they have no moving parts. Pipeline flow rates are measured electronically using vortex-shedding technology. Unlike stainless steel or paddle wheel designs, vortex units are suitable for aggressive or easily contaminated flow media such as ultrapure water in semiconductor-
manufacturing. Asahi/America, Malden, MA; ph 800/343-3618, fax 800/426-7058.
Semiconductor component standards on internet
In order to promote the use of semiconductor component standards among producers and consumers, the Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC), the governing body of the Electronic Industries Association (EIA), has made 25 JEDEC and 8 EIA standards and publications available on its web site. Documents available include JEP-95, the publication of semiconductor package outline specs; a number of reliability test methods on surface mount moisture sensitivity (A112 and A113); the JEDEC Manufacturers ID List; the procedures manual; and the Committee Scope Manual. A download menu permits direct access to the documents; as existing and new JEDEC standards are approved, they will also be posted on the web site. Standards are copyrighted by the EIA and are not to be used for resale purposes. EIA, Arlington, VA; ph 703/907-7500, fax 703/907-7501, www.eia.org/jedec/.
Thermocouple vacuum gauge brochure
This brochure highlights a line of vacuum controllers and gauges. Included is the TC-100 Bar Graph Vacuum Controller that features a 30-segment bar graph display with a range of 1-1000 ?m; a TC-600 digital vacuum controller that shows a 1-1000 ?m range on a four-digit LED display; and a TC-500 portable digital vacuum gauge that reads 0.01-20 mm Hg or 1-1000 ?m using a Teledyne DV-4D or DV-6M thermocouple gauge tube. Specs and ordering information are also

Film metrology system data sheet
This data sheet describes the functions, analytical capabilities, and performance of the Caliber 300 automated film metrology ellipsometer system for 300-mm wafers. The system uses Focused Beam technology and Cognex CoNLPAS pattern recognition, and provides repeatable and accurate film measurements for 300-mm development and 150-, 200-, and 300-mm production. Its design combines an integrated minienvironment to meet Class 0.01 specs, and wafers are continually swept by ULPA filtered air to support sub-0.25-?m geometry production. Rudolph Technologies Inc., Flanders, NJ; ph 201/691-1300, fax 201/691-5480.
Vacuum products catalog
This 600-page catalog contains detailed specs for a line of products that produce, characterize, and deliver high and ultrahigh vacuum environments. Included in the catalog are sections on general, application, and technical information on lines of primary, diffusion, ion, and turbomolecular pumps; leak detectors; turbo pumping systems; instruments (including gauge controllers and transducers); components (including valves, flanges, fittings, and feedthroughs); supplies; and customized products. A new products section features pumps, leak detectors, instruments, and components. The catalog also contains a schedule of training classes offered in the US and Canada. Varian Vacuum Products, Lexington, MA; ph 800/882-7426.
Wafer-marking system brochure
This full-color brochure describes an air-cooled, laser-marking system for hard marking SEMI OCR, BC412,
2-D symbology, and other font formats on all wafer sizes, including 300 mm. The WaferMark SigmaDSC is equipped with a Sigma 200 ND:YLF ultrastable pumped laser; factory automation options such as mark verification, machine reading, robotic flipper assembly, and SECS II/GEM communication interface are available.
Photographs of the equipment and various marked wafer samples support the text. Specs and envelope drawings are also included. Lumonics/Oxnard Operations, Oxnard, CA; ph 805/485-5559, fax 805/485-3310.Circle 306
