FPD probe station

Model 2250 is a large-area manual probing station for flat panel display substrates. Technologies for which the prober is designed include nonemissive LCD, digital light processing, and grating light valve display panels, as well as emissive plasma, field emission, and electroluminescence display panels. The station is mounted on a vibration-isolation air table and features two manipulator platens that are independently movable to provide X direction probe positioning. Each platen in turn features a thumbwheel-controlled track drive for gross manipulator positioning in the Y direction. By combining the X platen movement and the Y track drive, probing is possible over a wide area in a variety of probing combinations. The manipulators can be configured to hold standard probes or wedge probe cards. The Micromanipulator Co. Inc., Carson City, NV; ph 702/882-2400, fax 702/882-7694, e-mail [email protected].
