Thermally Conductive Epoxy

04/01/2000

Loctite 3861 is a low-viscosity, thermally conductive epoxy potting compound for electronic casting and encapsulating applications that require thermal conductivity and chemical resistance. This heat-curable potting material offers low thermal expansion, good wetting and flow capabilities, good thermal shock resistance, high heat transfer capabilities and good electrical properties. When fully cured, the product is resistant to weather, water, gases and vapors, petroleum lubricants, and mild acids and alkalis. The epoxy cures in two hours at 100°C or in one hour at 180°C.
