McWane and Associates, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, has improved its Web site (www.materialsite.com) to include engineering technical support for welding, brazing, soldering and related materials processing. Several tasks may now be conducted through the Web site for clients, including design, design review, materials selection, procedure qualification and quality requirements.

ASME International (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) is launching a new online publishing resource outlet. Through this initiative, many of ASME's codes and standards can be purchased and downloaded. The storefront is expected to be available this quarter at www.asme.org. The Society develops, maintains and distributes codes and standards used around the world for the design, manufacture and installation of mechanical devices.
