Museum Hosts Anniversary Party

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - To commemorate the 35th anniversary of the 4004 Intel microprocessor, the Computer History Museum and the Intel Museum hosted a night of history and discussion, November 13, 2006. Speakers included designers Ted Hoff and Federico Faggin, who brought the microprocessor into mainstream manufacture.
The event debuted the Intel Museum’s exhibit on the 4004, a product that embodied computer architecture within a silicon device. The exhibit showcases the microprocessor as an invention that began a design and manufacture revolution in electronics.
