CoorsTek will keep the Gaiser brand name and provide technical and material innovations to improve market position. Gaiser, founded in 1962, developed alumina-ceramic capillaries - its Process1800 produces bottleneck-style ceramic capillaries - in 1970.
In the acquisition CoorsTek, which operates in North America, Europe, and Asia, gains Gaiser’s Tokyo facility for engineering support, design, sales, and distribution. “Coorstek’s existing business in Tokyo is primarily front-end, so this will support a broader base,” said Randel Mercer of CoorsTek.
