ASHP is a 35,000-member national professional association that represents pharmacists who practice in hospitals, health maintenance organizations, long-term care facilities, home care, and other components of health care systems. ASHP is the largest national organization of hospital and health-system pharmacists. The organization hosts a number of meetings, conferences, and specialty courses each year to provide health-system pharmacy practitioners with venues for updating their knowledge, networking with colleagues, enhancing their skills, and learning about the latest products and technologies, meeting one-on-one with industry suppliers. At the Summer Meeting, attendees have the opportunity to earn up to 15.5 hours of CE.

The House of Delegates, the major policy-making body of ASHP, will convene at the Summer Meeting. Attendees are invited to share their views on policy proposals and comment on emerging issues at an Open Forum on Saturday.
