Micron Technology, Inc. to Acquire KMT Semiconductor, Ltd.

ITC Determines Atmel Patent Infringed

10/18/2000  San Jose, California--Oct. 18, 2000--A final determination was issued by the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) on Oct. 16 regarding investigation of Atmel Corp.'s complaint in 1997 that several of its patents--covering certain erasable programmable read only memory (EPROM), electrically erasable programmable read only memory (EEPROM), flash memory, flash microcontroller semiconductor devices, and products containing these devices--were being infringed.

ITC Investigates Rambus' SDRAM Infringement Complaint

10/12/2000  Mountain View, California--Oct. 10, 2000--The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) is investigating claims by Rambus Inc. that Korea-based Hyundai Electronics Co. Ltd. and San Jose, California-based Hyundai Electronics America are violating Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 by importing into the U.S. certain synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM) devices, modules, and products that infringe U.S. patents owned by Rambus.
