Hynix creditors to lend BOE Tech $210M

11/12/2002  Nov. 12, 2002 - Seoul, Korea - Creditor banks of Hynix Semiconductor Inc. plan to lend China's BOE Technology Group Co. about $210 million to finance its purchase of Hynix's FPD unit, an official from Korea Exchange Bank (KEB) said.

BioTrove nets $5.25 million

11/12/2002  BioTrove Inc., a Cambridge, Mass.-based developer of drug discovery tools, announced $5.25 million in second round financing. Catalyst Health and Technology Partners led the round. CB Health Ventures, Zero Stage Capital and BioFrontier Partners also participated. All are new investors in BioTrove.

BioForce Nanosciences announces funding

11/12/2002  BioForce Nanosciences, an Ames, Iowa, developer of nanoarray technologies for biomolecular analysis, has received $2.5 million in an ongoing first round of funding, according to Mandy Potter, communications manager. Potter said the goal is to raise $3 million and the company anticipates keeping the round open until January 2003.
